Koara is crafted specifically for children's book text, inspired by the need for more characteristic in the typography of my brother's kindergarten books. While their illustrations were engaging, the typeface lacked distinctiveness.

Credits

  • Collaborated with two peer-level UX designers, with mentorship from Dan Robbins at Adobe.

  • Completed as a Master’s program capstone project, involving a full end-to-end simulation of multiple stakeholder feedback loops, intensive iterations, and formal presentations within a constrained timeline.
